Autism Awareness Day

Please join Autism Speaks and the Florida Autism Society of America for: AUTISM AWARENESS DAY Tallahassee, FL Wednesday, April 6, 2011 9am-5pm Your Legislators need to Hear Your Voice! With the current budget climate, it is imperative that we have a presence in Tallahassee and speak to legislators face to face. If you are able to bring your loved one that is on the spectrum, please do so. It helps to provide legislators with an understanding of the challenges that our families face every day. We will be meeting at the Capitol building on the Plaza level (after you pass through security) at 9:00am SHARP. Please wear red. Autism Speaks, Florida CAC, Tammie Baker will be organizing car pools to Tallahassee. Contact Tammie at tamneggs@comcast.net if you are willing to provide a ride or need a ride. ASA-FL, President, Ven Sequenzia is scheduling appointments with your legislators. Provide your name and address to him via email at vsequenzia@aol.com. For more information or to offer help organizing contact Sharon Boyd, Advocacy Relations Coordinator at sboyd@autismspeaks.org. TOGETHER we can do anything!
